Commonwealth Scholarships for International Students

Commonwealth Scholarships are provided to the students who are going to apply for the master’s or Ph.D. in the UK and these students should be from Commonwealth countries, these scholarships are funded by UK Department for International Development (DFID), these students also join the universities which have an agreement with the CSC, these scholarships are targeted to the developing commonwealth countries students.

Award of Scholarship
It is a fully-funded Scholarship that gives airfare (to and fro from the United Kingdom), tuition fees, examination fees, thesis grant, and initial arrival allowance, among others there are many more funds for the scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria for Commonwealth Scholarship for Developing Commonwealth Countries 2024-25

To apply to the scholarships Commonwealth citizen, refugee, or British protected person, has a permanent resident of the developing country, going to commence academic studies in the UK, possesses the first degree of upper second class Honours standard or second class degree, and a relevant postgraduate qualification.

Nationality
The candidate should be a resident of any of the Commonwealth countries to apply.

These applications are passed through the nominating body or university body in the home country, follow the rules to apply, applications are to be made through CSC’s electronic application system, and the application should be endorsed and nominated by any nominating body.
